Installation and operation specifications

General Installation Principles

Supports hot swapping: Media modules, MB20 expansion modules, and SFP modules can all be installed/removed during device operation

Tool requirements: It is prohibited to insert sharp objects (such as thin screwdrivers, wires, etc.) into the interior of the equipment to avoid electric shock

Personnel qualifications: Electrical installation related work must be operated by professionally trained personnel

Key module installation steps

Media module: Remove the MICE device interface cover → Insert the module → Tighten the 4 corner screws → Check the switch settings → Connect the signal line

SFP module: Remove slot cover → Close locking device and insert module → Confirm buckle locking (only use HIRSCHMANN original SFP)

MB20 expansion module: Loosen the screws on both sides of the base module → Remove the side cover → Dock the guide rail to the base module → Retighten the screws

Special requirements for PoE modules

Power supply: Use HIRSCHMANN RPS60/48V EEC power supply, output power<100W, current<2A

Wiring: 3-core terminal block, cable length<3m, wire diameter suitable for 1.5A current

Terminal: Only connect IEEE 802.3af compatible devices, using 4 pairs of Twisted Pair cables
