Product Core Positioning and Basic Design

All three devices are compact and low-cost industrial HMI devices, with rich functions, suitable for compact installation and human-machine interaction needs in industrial sites;

Standard configuration includes 5 user programmable function keys (with slide in legend), 5 user programmable LED indicator lights, equipped with a numeric keypad, and a front panel protection level of IP65;

Supports multilingual project development, with optional modules for industrial bus (Profibus DP/DeviceNet, etc.) and Ethernet connectivity. Some models offer extended operating temperature versions.

Display core specifications

The three devices are divided into two display types: vacuum fluorescent screen (VFD) and monochrome LCD. The core parameters are differentiated, and the LCD backlight uses LED with a lifespan of up to 100000 hours. The specific specifications are as follows:

Core functional characteristics

All devices are compatible with the universal core functions of the UniOP operator panel, and some functions may differ due to model differences. The key functions are as follows:

Programming and Development: Powerful and intuitive programming is achieved through UniOP Designer software, supporting multilingual projects, with a programming baud rate of 9600~38400bps (CP05R-04 is 9600bps);

Communication capability: Supports communication drivers for over 130 types of industrial equipment, with the CP01 series having unique dual driver communication capabilities; Optional fieldbus (Profibus DP/DeviceNet/CANopen/Interbus) and Ethernet module, equipped with PC/printer port, PLC port, auxiliary port, no external keyboard port;

Data processing and display: Supports displaying data in numerical, text, and bar chart formats, with no limit on the number of variables per page. Comes standard with 16KB recipe storage memory and a keyboard macro editor;

Security and alarm: both equipped with 8-level password protection mechanism; Differentiated alarm capabilities: The CP01 series supports 1024 alarms, while the CP05R-04 supports 256 alarms. All models retain a list of 256 historical events with an alarm information page;

Network capability: UniNET has different network adaptability. The CP01 series is a Client/Server (master-slave), while the CP05R-04 is only a Client (slave);

Other: The CP01 series is equipped with hardware RTC, without screensaver or buzzer, and does not support data collection and trend analysis.

Hardware and electrical parameters

Memory: CP01R-04 comes standard with 512KB user memory and supports 512KB expansion (total 1MB). CP01F-02/CP05R-04 does not indicate expandability;

Power supply and insurance: The power supply voltage is 18~30VDC, with a maximum power consumption of 0.300A at 24VDC; equipped with 2A user replaceable fuses;

Clock and Battery: The CP01 series is equipped with a hardware RTC, powered by a CR2430 lithium battery (3V 270mA). The battery is non rechargeable and user replaceable, and needs to be matched with the device’s operating temperature;

Physical weight: The three devices weigh approximately 1.1 Kg each;

Ports and accessories: The standard programming cable is CA114. When using the CP05 model, a 15 pin female to female adapter needs to be added to the PLC port; All devices are compatible with standard TCM/SCM expansion modules, and the module slots can be accessed by removing the back cover.

Environmental adaptation and certification

Protection and compatibility: The front panel protection is IP65, in compliance with industrial electromagnetic compatibility standards: emission interference EN 61000-6-4:2001, anti-interference EN 61000-6-2:2001;

Temperature adaptation: available in standard and extended versions, with a storage temperature range of -20~70 ℃. The operating temperature is as follows:

Standard model (-0045): 0~+50 ℃

Expansion version (-00A6): 0~+60 ℃

Expansion model (-00A7): -20~+60 ℃

Humidity: The working and storage humidity ranges from 5% to 85% RH (non condensing).

All models have uniform installation dimensions, specifically:

Hole depth: -0045/-00A7 is 74mm (2.91 inches), other models are 82mm (3.20 inches)

LED indicator lights and button instructions

The front panel is equipped with a dedicated green LED indicator light, which corresponds to different device information, specifically: off=no button operation and no errors; Flashing=communication error; Always on=with button operation (visual feedback); Low battery flicker; Always on=hardware malfunction;

Function keys (1-5) with slide in legend, providing legend bar accessories in laser printing format, and RDA mapping of all keys and LEDs to industry standards.

Model differences and ordering information

Core model differences: The core differences of the three devices are concentrated in display type/number of rows and columns, dual drive capability, number of alarms, and UniNET network roles. CP05R-04 is a low-cost basic model with no dual drives and fewer alarms;

Ordering models: distinguish display types and operating temperature versions. The core ordering models are CP01F-02-0045, CP01R-04-0045/A6/A7, and CP05R-04-0045;

Official accessory: R-PRIMT2299 (printable legend, including 5 sheets of A4 foil, 16 sets of legends per sheet).
