KEBA KeConnect I/O Module Series

Product General Attributes

All KeConnect I/O modules have unified industrial grade basic attributes, providing convenience for cross model adaptation and system integration. The core parameters are as follows:

Adaptation scenarios: The vast majority of models support KePlast, KeMotion, and general industrial scenarios, marked as •; Only a few models (such as DO 242/B, AM 282/A) are compatible with certain scenarios

Environmental standards: working temperature * *+5 ℃~+55 ℃, storage temperature -40 ℃~+70 ℃, relative humidity 10%~95% (no condensation), vibration/impact resistance in accordance with EN 61131-2**

Electrical standards: overvoltage level II, protection level III (EN 61131-2), most modules achieve K-bus addressing through 16 bit address switches (side)

Mechanical specifications: Most modules have a uniform size of 120mm (height) x 22.5mm (front board width) x 100mm (depth), including a K-bus plug that is 32.5mm wide; The wiring terminals are open terminals with a spacing of 5.08mm, and some are gold-plated contact plug-in terminals

Power supply mode: Mainly provided by K-bus with 24V DC/5V DC, some modules (such as digital output and hybrid modules) support front-end 24V DC power supply (tolerance 19.2V~30V, EN 61131-2)

Connection method: It can be directly connected to the KEBA CPU module or adapted to all KEBA controllers through a bus coupler

General features: Standard electronic parameter chip, LED status display, most modules have electrical isolation, fault detection/diagnosis functions, strong anti-interference ability

Digital I/O module

It includes three types: digital input, digital output, and digital hybrid. The core is the acquisition and control of 24V DC switch signal, with industrial grade protection and high-speed response characteristics. The key parameters are shown in the table below:

Core commonality: The digital inputs are all Type1 (EN61131-2) standards, and the digital outputs support 24V DC/2A loads with continuous short-circuit protection. The hybrid module integrates input and output advantages and is suitable for small space multi signal scenarios.

Analog I/O module

It includes three types: analog input, analog output, and analog hybrid. The core is high-precision acquisition and output of voltage/current analog quantities, supporting differential/single ended modes, with high resolution and low error characteristics. Core commonality: Analog inputs all use successive approximation conversion, support sensor fault detection, and have first-order 250Hz low-pass filtering; The analog outputs are all single ended and support monotonic output with error free codes. The temperature coefficient error is as low as ± 5ppm/℃, meeting the high-precision measurement and control needs of industry.

Compact module: IM 270/W

A highly integrated multifunctional module designed for optimizing plastic machinery and adapting to general industrial scenarios, it is the core model for cost and space optimization. It integrates 32 digital inputs, 40 digital outputs, 8 analog inputs, 6 analog outputs, 8 temperature inputs, and 4 SSI interfaces, and is equipped with 2 EtherCAT interfaces. The core features are as follows:

Digital I/O: 32 digital inputs (200 μ s update cycle), 16 0.5A digital outputs (100% simultaneous rate)+24 2A digital outputs (50% simultaneous rate), all supporting short circuit detection/protection, 2A output with 500V AC electrical isolation

Analog I/O: 8-channel analog input (16 bit resolution, ± 10V, 100 μ s scanning period), 6-channel analog output (12 bit, ± 10V, 100 μ s conversion period), supports differential/single ended options, sensor fault detection

Specially designed for position detection, integrating incremental encoder input and latch input, supporting position/velocity measurement, suitable for motion control scenarios, core parameters:

Encoder input: 2 channels, 32-bit resolution, maximum 250kHz differential frequency, supports single/double/quadruple frequency resolution, 1MHz quadruple frequency pulse rate

General power consumption and weight

Most small-sized modules (digital/analog/temperature/serial) weigh between 130g and 142g, the compact module IM 270/W weighs 880g, and the communication option module (FX200/A, SX2x0/A) is as light as 27g/31g; In terms of power consumption, K-bus 24V power consumption is mostly 0-3.6W, 5V power consumption is mostly 0.3-1.5W, and the total power consumption of compact modules is the highest at 62.5W.
