Basic working principle
Storage and forwarding mechanism: Check frame CRC, discard<64 byte short frames,>1536 long frames, and erroneous packets, and only forward valid Ethernet packets;
MAC address self-learning: cache over 1000 MAC addresses per port, automatically clear idle addresses after 5 minutes of aging, and forward broadcast/multicast to all ports;
Whole machine throughput: line speed forwarding, up to 148800 frames per second;
Key limitations:
The entire system does not support PoE power supply and cannot be connected to PoE powered devices;
CU2208 hardware version 01 and above supports Jumbo Frame up to 9720 bytes, with gigabit ports available; Under full load, up to 2 ports can run macro frames simultaneously, while other CU20xx models do not support macro frames.

Installation, wiring, and indicator lights
DIN rail disassembly and assembly steps
Installation
Fixed standard 35mm DIN rail;
Hang the lower buckle of the switch on the bottom edge of the guide rail;
Tighten the device upwards, and the upper buckle will automatically lock in place;
4. Connect the power cord and network cable; Reserve 10mm installation allowance above the control cabinet guide rail.
disassemble
Unplug all network cables and power terminals;
Lift the switch body upwards;
Pull out the upper buckle and detach it from the guide rail.
Wiring specifications
24V power supply spring terminal (three pins:+24V/0V/PE)
UL compliance requirements: use isolated power supply, with a maximum front-end 4A fuse or NEC Class2 power supply; Multiple Class2 power supplies are prohibited from series/parallel connection;
PE must be reliably grounded to meet EMC and anti electric shock requirements.
RJ45 Ethernet port standard 8-core Ethernet definition, supports standard Category 5/6 twisted pair cables, automatically adapts to straight through and crossover lines.
LED status indication
Whole machine green Power light: constantly on=24V power supply is normal; Extinguish=power outage/wiring failure;
Each RJ45 port has dual indicator lights:
Lnk/Act: Constant light=link established, flashing=data transmission and reception; Extinguish=No device connection;
Speed indicator: CU20xx constantly on=100M; CU2208 constantly on=1000M, off=10M.
UL Compliance Requirements
Only compatible with the complete EtherCAT system certified by Beifu UL;
RJ45 network port cannot access telecommunications external lines;
Power supply limitation: The isolated circuit is equipped with 4A fuses or Class2 power supplies, and multiple Class2 power supplies are prohibited from being connected in series or parallel;
The certification standard UL508 only evaluates fire and electric shock risks.
