Installation requirements
Installation posture: fixed in any orientation and plane; Use M5 screws with a minimum length of 50mm and utilize the two mounting holes on the body.
Important warning: Before disassembling the pressure switch, the internal pressure of the pipeline system must be completely released; It is strictly prohibited to exceed the pressure (overpressure) limit indicated on the nameplate.
Pressure thread interface (NPT taper pipe thread)
Most of the products are manufactured with internal NPT interfaces, and external threads can be purchased as an option;
Install a maximum torque of 12 ft lb (feet pounds);
Recommend using flexible joints or bendable pipelines to avoid the shell bearing pipeline stress; Do not apply excessive torque to the threads;
Sealing: Priority should be given to using pipe thread sealant; Raw tape can also be used, but be careful not to let sealing materials enter the interior of the pressure switch to prevent blockage and damage.
Electrical wiring specifications
Warning: The power must be cut off before wiring; Certified electricians are required to operate to prevent the risk of electric shock.
The product comes with a conduit connector for free lead wires;
Connect the wires after power failure and confirm the live status of multiple circuits; Wiring follows NEC American Electrical Code and local regulations;
Lock the conduit joint with a maximum tightening torque of 12 ft lb; Reserved wire service bend ring for easy maintenance in the later stage;
Reliable grounding is required, and the user is responsible for fault protection and equipotential bonding;
Optional accessories: Terminal Box Kit, which can be selected on the CCS official website;
Cable free leads should be mechanically protected;
If the wiring area is in an explosive environment: explosion-proof certified junction boxes/terminal devices must be used (this switch body is a non explosion-proof model).
Pressure set point adjustment (externally adjustable, factory pre-set products do not require on-site adjustment)
If it is inconvenient to conduct live testing, disconnect the power supply and use a multimeter/on-off tester;
Release the adjustment cover plate; Screwdriver rotation adjustment screw:
Clockwise: Increase the pressure setting value (INCREASE)
Counter clockwise: Reduce pressure setting value (DECREASE)
After the adjustment is completed, tighten the cover plate again (torque ≤ 12 ft lb);
Restore wiring, restore power supply, and verify action pressure.
Important Safety Disclaimer
If the switch is used for personnel/equipment safety protection and to prevent the release of hazardous media:
Switches must be designed in conjunction with the system and safety procedures, and cannot be used as the sole means of safety protection; The risk of switch failure needs to be considered;
Strictly follow the installation instructions; Ignoring warnings can result in serious injury or even death, and the risk is borne by the user.
CCS shall not be held responsible for misuse, abuse, or improper selection; Repairs are only allowed to be performed by qualified technicians.
