JP1~JP4: COM1 serial port mode jumper, switch RS232/RS422/RS485/485+

JP5 (clear CMOS): default 1-2 is normal; Power off and short circuit 2-3 to clear BIOS settings and restore factory settings

Hardware installation steps (Getting Started)

Emphasize anti-static operation throughout the process, disconnect and disassemble all components when powered off, and prohibit bare touching of chip contacts.

LGA775 CPU installation

Standard ZIF buckle process: Press the lever → Open the cover → Remove the protective cover → Align the CPU triangle with the bottom left corner of the socket → Lay the CPU flat, close the cover and lock it; It is strictly prohibited to violently press and damage the pins, as damage will result in loss of warranty.

CPU Heat Sink Specification (Key Warning)

Universal downward pressure buckle heat sinks are prohibited as they may bend the PCB and cause permanent damage. Linghua’s designated 1U/2U/3U LGA775 copper bottom heat sink must be selected; Installation requirements:

Install a backboard and fix it on the back of the motherboard

Tighten the screws evenly diagonally to avoid uneven force and overheating of the CPU

Connect the fan cable to the FAN2 socket and hold the motherboard with both hands to prevent deformation during disassembly and assembly

Memory installation

Dual channel 240pin DDR2, notch foolproof design; It is recommended to install in pairs with the same brand, capacity, and sequence to achieve dual channels. The single-sided buckle will automatically lock, and the two side buckles can be disassembled and opened.

Power supply wiring

CN7 ATX12V auxiliary power supply must be connected; The chassis panel CN1 needs to be connected to the power on, reset, and indicator lights in order to power on normally.

Driver Installation Guide

The driver is stored on the matching All in One DVD, compatible with Windows XP/Vista, and the installation steps are divided into modules:

Q35 chipset driver: Run infist_autol.exe, restart to take effect

GMA3100 display driver: Install with one click

Dual Gigabit Network Card Driver: PRO2KXP Installation Program

ISA Bridge Driver: Device Manager manually updates INF

TPM security chip driver (DV model only)

HD Audio Driver: Only compatible with DB-Audio2 daughter card, HDA controller needs to be enabled in BIOS first
