Huichuan MCTC-ARD-C Elevator Automatic Rescue Device (ARD)
Product positioning and core functions
Product positioning
MCTC-ARD-C is an elevator automatic rescue device (ARD) independently developed by Huichuan
Perfectly compatible with Huichuan NICE series elevator controller
Core function: Automatic emergency rescue in case of power outage/phase loss in the city
work logic
Normal: Monitor the mains power and charge the battery
Exception: Power outage/phase loss detected for 200ms, confirmed before starting
Rescue: Output emergency power → Drive elevator in light load direction → Open door and release personnel on the nearest floor
Recovery: Automatically switch back to the main power supply after the mains power is normal

power on
Close K5 → Install panel → Close K4 → Close main power
Check battery: 3-4 grid battery level lights are on
Emergency testing
The elevator is located on the middle floor
Cut off the main power supply and verify automatic rescue
Maintenance and battery replacement
Precautions for battery replacement
The entire machine must be powered off for operation
Prohibition of short circuit/reverse connection between positive and negative poles
Use an insulated screwdriver

Fault diagnosis
1. Indicator light description
Power indicator: 25% per grid; The left light flashes while charging
Fault light: constantly on/flashing indicates a fault
2. Common faults and their solutions
Methods for handling the causes of fault phenomena
Output short circuit/overcurrent wiring error, load short circuit. After troubleshooting, power on again
Over temperature protection: The radiator automatically recovers when it reaches 90 ℃ and cools down to below 82 ℃
Battery undervoltage discharge < 28VDC, charging after mains power recovery
Unable to activate emergency K4/K5 not closed, battery depletion<27V, close or replace battery
Key issues
Question 1: What is the complete emergency rescue process for MCTC-ARD-C? How to handle timeout?
answer
Detected power outage/phase loss, confirmed for 200ms
ARD battery discharge, output 380VAC emergency power supply
Send Y1 emergency start signal to elevator controller
The controller drives the elevator to run in the direction of light load until the nearest floor opens the door
Stop output and exit emergency mode upon receiving X1 completion signal
If no completion signal is received within 3 minutes, the output protection will be automatically forced to stop
Question 2: What are the consequences of reversing the input and output of ARD? How to avoid it?
answer
Consequence: Direct damage to the internal motherboard and power components of ARD, irreparable
Avoidance methods:
Strictly follow the terminal definition for wiring: L1/L2/L3=mains input, R/S/T=output to elevator
Double check after wiring
Before powering on, check the phase and line sequence with a multimeter
Question 3: What is the threshold for determining that the ARD battery cannot be rescued due to low power? How to recover?
answer
Discharge protection threshold: < 28VDC → stop output, rescue prohibited
Power loss judgment during startup: < 27VDC → Fault light on, unable to start
Recovery method:
Restore mains power, ARD automatic charging
After charging, it still cannot be used. Replace it with 3 standard 12V 7Ah batteries
