Key questions and answers

Question 1: What is the function of the dual Ethernet port and MRP function of ILC 171/191 ETH 2TX? How to configure on-site?

answer:

Dual network ports with built-in switching function can achieve linear/circular topology, saving switches; MRP is a medium redundancy protocol that switches within 200ms in the event of a ring network failure to ensure uninterrupted communication.

Configuration: In PC Worx, enter Extended Settings → MRP Client * *, set to activated, and restart to take effect.

Question 2: Do the three power supplies (U_SLC/U_S/U_S) of the ILC controller need to be separated? What are the consequences of connecting incorrectly?

answer:

Three independent functions, allowing external short circuiting of the common power supply, but must be equipped with fuses according to the current:

U_SLC: Provides power to the controller and logic, ≤ 2A fuse

U_S/U_S: Supply power to IO and bus, ≤ 8A fuse

Consequences of incorrect connection: overload burning insurance, module overheating, IO unable to output, bus unable to connect to the network.

Question 3: What are the core differences between ETH/XC wide temperature version and standard version? Which scenarios must choose XC version?

answer:

Differences:

Working temperature: Standard version * * -25~+55 ℃; XC version -40~+60 ℃**

Coating: XC version motherboard three proof coating, resistant to moisture/dust

XC version scenes must be selected:

Outdoor cabinet, no air conditioning cabinet, cold storage, vehicle mounted, coastal high humidity environment

Industrial sites with large temperature fluctuations and no temperature control
