Working principle
Normal: Cable tension, contacts maintain output
Action: Pull rope or press emergency stop → Contact immediately disconnects+mechanical lock
Reset: The blue reset button must be rotated to restore
Protection: If the cable is too loose, it will automatically lock to prevent misoperation and the impact of thermal expansion and contraction
Typical applications
Emergency stop of the entire belt conveyor line
Long distance, irregular equipment area protection
Workshop conveyor lines, warehousing and logistics equipment
Key questions and answers
Question 1: Lifeline ™ What is the function of “mechanical locking” for 4? How must it be reset?
answer:
The function is to keep the contact open after pulling the rope or emergency stop action, to prevent danger caused by accidental restoration of power supply, and to suppress the effects of false tripping and thermal expansion and contraction.
The blue reset knob must be manually rotated to unlock and restore the contacts, and automatic reset is not possible.
Question 2: How long can this product cover? How to distinguish different length models? How to choose on-site?
answer:
Maximum coverage of 125m; divided into two models: standard 75m and extended 75-125m.
Conveying distance * * ≤ 75m * *: Select standard type
75-125m: Choose the extended type
Multiple units need to be connected in series for use over 125m.
Question 3: How does 240E-L13042 meet safety requirements? What level of security system can be used?
answer:
Adopting a direct disconnect safety contact, it is forcibly disconnected during rope pulling/emergency stop actions to meet high safety levels.
Can be used for:
ISO 13849-1:Cat.4 / PLd
IEC 62061:SIL2 / SIL3
Suitable for emergency stop circuits with high safety requirements such as conveyors, packaging lines, and machine tools.
