Compatibility Table for Supporting Power Adapter

Power supply model, order number, adapter tool

MT PS 180W‑36V 8432084002 ETD MT21/41、ETD M ABL V2、QMT21/41、QMC21/41

252W-42V power supply 8432084007 ETD MT61, ETD MC61, QMT61, QMC61, backward compatible with MT41/QMT41/QMC41, etc

Typical working cycle of the tool: 1 second work, 4 seconds rest; The actual allowable duty cycle depends on the torque and joint type, and the equipment is equipped with overheat protection to prevent over cycling.

Mandatory process verification requirements (tightening quality responsibility clauses)

After any event that affects the tightening process occurs, the actual installation torque and rotation direction must be verified.

Trigger verification scenario: initial installation of the system; Parts/bolts/tools/software/configuration/environmental changes; Electrical wiring modifications; Production line technology, quality process, operator replacement, etc.

Verification execution timing: Verification must be carried out after initial installation, maintenance and repair are completed; At least one verification shall be carried out per shift to confirm that the working conditions of the bolt joint have not changed.

Various compliance statements

EU CE: Compliant with RoHS (2011/65/EU), EMC electromagnetic compatibility, LVD low voltage directive; Reference coordinated standards such as EN61010-1 and EN61000 series.

WEEE waste electronic equipment: the product is marked with a forked trash can and cannot be discarded as domestic garbage. The whole machine/parts are sent to Atlas Customer Service Center for recycling.

REACH regulation: Some components of the equipment contain lead and are included in the REACH candidate list; Normal use will not precipitate, in compliance with RoHS exemption; Dispose of lead containing waste according to local regulations when scrapped.

FCC in the United States/ISED in Canada: Class A industrial equipment; The home environment can cause radio interference; The antenna cannot be modified without authorization.

California Prop65 warning: The product contains lead, which is recognized by California as having carcinogenic and reproductive damage risks.

GDPR EU data protection: controllers can store personal information such as usernames, roles, IP addresses, etc; The user is responsible for compliance, and Atlas is not responsible for user personal data processing.

General safety requirements

1. Use boundaries

Only suitable for industrial indoor dry environments, strictly prohibited from explosive hazardous environments; Only professional personnel are responsible for operation and maintenance.

Usage limitation: Only used for monitoring and driving tightening tools, prohibited for other purposes; It is strictly prohibited to modify equipment and accessories without authorization; The shell is damaged and the warning label is blurry and detached, and needs to be replaced immediately.

EMC electromagnetic compatibility is only applicable to industrial environments.

2. Key points of electrical safety

The equipment must be reliably grounded, and it is strictly prohibited to remove the grounding pin or connect to a socket; Before repairing and opening the cover, the power plug must be unplugged.

Original factory certified cables must be used, and unauthorized modification of cables is prohibited; Replace the damaged cable immediately.

Stay away from arc welding equipment to avoid welding interference; When working simultaneously with the welding machine, the workpiece must be independently grounded, and the cross-sectional area of the grounding conductor must be at least equal to the welding machine’s return cable to prevent welding return current from entering the controller’s grounding circuit.

The equipment is not waterproof, so avoid getting wet from water.

3. Installation and Handling

Installation and maintenance are only allowed to qualified personnel who have received training; Before plugging or unplugging tool cables, be sure to disconnect the mains power and turn off the controller.

Disconnect all wiring before transportation to prevent cable breakage and damage; Keep the storage environment dry, avoid dust and corrosive media, and avoid severe temperature fluctuations.

4. Operational safety

The position of the power-off switch should be easily accessible to the operator.

The tool head should not touch the internal conductors or other hidden live parts of the cable.

Maintenance Regulations

Cleaning: Only use a damp cloth with clean water to wipe; Solvent based cleaning agents are strictly prohibited.

Cable inspection: Regularly check power cords and tool cables, and replace them immediately if they are damaged.

ESD electrostatic protection mandatory requirement: The internal components of the controller are highly sensitive to static electricity. Anti static workstations (anti-static mats+anti-static wristbands) must be used for maintenance and disassembly; The document comes with a standard ESD workstation diagram, which may cause random failures if the environment is not met.

Troubleshooting and system restart are only allowed to be operated by authorized personnel.
