Structure and Easy to Use Design

Compact and sturdy

Compact size, metal casing, impact resistant and tamper proof

High visibility indicator light: green (closed)/red (open)/orange (half open)/flashing red (fault)

Flexible installation

The body can rotate and adapt to left and right door opening

Lock type: adaptive lock tongue+inclined surface introduction, compensating for door sagging

Non contact type: Poor tolerance, anti vibration false triggering

Special bracket

Flat bracket GS-B11, L-shaped GS-B01, hinged door GS-B31/B41, sliding door GS-B33/B43, interior GS-B21

Advantages of System Integration

Cascade simplified wiring

Multiple units connected in series, only outputting one set of OSSD to the safety circuit

OSSD secure output

Redundant transistor output, optional PNP/NPN, directly connected to contactor/safety PLC

Auxiliary monitoring (AUX)

Each unit comes with an auxiliary output and is connected to a PLC/HMI fault location door

Integrated functionality

Built in EDM, manual reset, emergency stop input, no need for external safety relays

Additional security features

Dual action joystick GS-H01: Press and slide to unlock, preventing accidental opening

Escape release GS-H02: Internal unlock, limited to M12 connector type only

Manual release: Front/back mechanical unlock

Encoding level: Low (compatible with any actuator)/High (only recognizes pairing)

LOTO padlock: metal head supports maintenance padlock

Environmental protection

Protection level: IP65/67/IP69K, NEMA 3/4X/12/13

Working temperature: -20~+55 ℃

Vibration resistance: 10~55Hz, impact resistance: 30G

Standard Selection Four Step Method

Select type: Need to lock → GS-50/70; Only detect → GS-10

Model selection: Standard/High performance PNP/NPN、 Cable/connector

Choose bracket: match with swing door/hinged door/sliding door

Optional accessories: cable, actuator, handle, escape release, Y connector

Key questions and answers

Question 1: What are the differences in core applicable scenarios between the GS series locking type and non-contact type?

answer:

Locking type (GS-50/70): used for high inertia equipment (such as rotating, hydraulic, and large mechanisms) that still poses a danger after shutdown, relying on a holding force of 2000N to forcibly lock the door; GS-50 power on release and power-off hold, suitable for scenarios with higher safety requirements.

Non contact type (GS-10): Used for equipment that is non hazardous when power is off, only monitoring whether the door is closed, without mechanical locks, wide detection tolerance, anti vibration/door sagging, suitable for clean, high-frequency switching environments.

Question 2: What are the advantages of the cascading function of the GS series? How many units can be cascaded at most?

Answer: Advantages: Multiple switches connected in series only output one set of OSSD safety signals, greatly reducing wiring and terminals, simplifying the system; Each unit retains AUX auxiliary output and can locate faulty doors separately. Quantity: Lock type up to 25 units, non-contact type up to 30 units (up to 4 units when using Y-shaped connectors).

Question 3: What is the highest safety level achieved by the GS series? What do these levels represent?

Answer: The GS series meets the requirements of ISO13849-1 PLe/Category 4, IEC61508 SIL3, and ISO14119 Type4. Meaning: Represents the highest level of safety performance, even in the event of a single system failure, safety functions can still be maintained; Suitable for industrial equipment protection that can cause fatal hazards in the event of a malfunction, it is an entry safety requirement for industries such as automotive, stamping, and robotics.
