GPIB (IEEE-488) is the mainstream parallel communication bus for industrial testing instruments, and the 3488A series is a fully compatible GPIB controller launched by Linghua. It is divided into three hardware models, suitable for laptops, desktop industrial computers, and short half height chassis:

1. USB-3488A: USB 2.0 external, portable for laptop scenarios, comes with a 2m matching cable, no external power supply required;

2. LPCI-3488A: Low profile half height PCI bus card, compatible with 3.3V/5V PCI slots;

3. LPCIe-3488A: Low profile half height PCIe bus card, compatible with modern PCIe industrial control hosts.

The entire series follows the IEEE488.2 standard, with a maximum of 14 GPIB instruments controlled in series by a single controller, and supports wired, star, or hybrid topologies; Built in read/write FIFO cache improves transmission stability, providing API compatibility with NI-488.2 and industrial VISA standard library, perfectly compatible with existing testing programs and instrument drivers. At the same time, Linghua’s PXI/PXIe controller product line is also equipped with GPIB solutions of the same specifications.
