Product basic positioning and overview

1. Product Definition

PCIe-7856 and PCIe-7853 are PCIe x1 plug and play main controller boards designed for mechanical equipment automation scenarios. They are equipped with dual industrial bus interfaces to achieve remote distributed IO and motion axis control

PCIe-7856: Supports both Motionnet motion bus and HSL high-speed IO bus, with both motion control and large-scale IO acquisition capabilities;

PCIe-7853: Only supports HSL high-speed IO bus, pure remote distributed IO master controller, without motion control function.

2. Advantages of core technology architecture (HSL bus)

Adopting a master-slave architecture, it can scan thousands of IO points in milliseconds in real time; using standard RJ45 Ethernet cable wiring, the slave module can be installed nearby sensors and actuators, greatly reducing the length of on-site cables; Simultaneously compatible with both digital and analog hybrid slave modules, with excellent real-time response speed.

Maximum number of connected IO points: Both cards can support up to 2016 remote IO points;

Motion axis control: only supported by PCIe-7856, can control up to 256 motion axes; PCIe-7853 has no motion control channel.

Bus speed software adjustable

HSL bus: 3/6/12 Mbps optional, factory default 6 Mbps;

Motionnet bus (7856 only): 2.5/5/10/20 Mbps optional, factory default 20 Mbps.

Hardware supporting functions

Onboard non-volatile memory (NV RAM), power off to save configuration;

Programmable timer interrupt, supports state read back interrupt;

RJ45 standardized interface, convenient on-site installation and wiring.
