The Tektronix 5400 series (core model 5403) is a low-cost, high-performance general-purpose oscilloscope system with DC to 60MHz bandwidth and a maximum sampling rate of 1GHz. It supports flexible expansion of three plugins (compatible with 5000/5400 series plugins, with a total of 17 options). The core highlight is the CRT reading function (which can display scale coefficients, scanning speeds, etc., reducing measurement errors and time). It provides two installation methods: rack mounted and desktop, suitable for scenarios such as tape/disk drive detection. It also has optional configurations such as no CRT reading and user addressable CRT reading. The second-hand equipment is in good condition and supports quick delivery and maintenance services.

CRT reading function (core highlight):
Display content: plugin scale coefficient, scanning speed, reverse/uncalibrated symbols, trajectory and data identification
Automatic calibration: Supports reading calibration during 10X/100X probe and magnification scanning, reducing operational errors
Extension function: Can be accessed externally for displaying dates, image numbers, digital clocks, etc; Optional user addressable function, supporting programming input of 2 10 character characters (such as operator name, test number)
Restriction: plugins with suffix N (such as 5A13N, 5B10N) do not support CRT reading
Display and trigger modes:
Display mode: ① Alternating mode (each plugin scans twice before switching, dual track amplifier scans once per channel); ② Chopping mode (25kHz-100kHz channel switching, depending on the plugin and operating mode)
Trigger mode: Internal trigger, supports left vertical channel and right vertical channel triggering
X-Y mode: Phase offset ≤ 1 ° within the range of DC to 20kHz (requires verification with dual amplifiers of the same type)
Plugin extension capability:
Number of plugin slots: 3 (vertical channel on the left and middle, horizontal channel on the right)
