UniOP ECT-16 Industrial PLC Workstation Operator Interface System

Product basic positioning

ECT-16 is a PLC workstation operator interface system designed for industrial scenarios, with the core advantages of powerful functionality and high cost-effectiveness. It achieves graphical operations through passive color pixelated LCD, adapts to the PLC interaction needs of various industrial sites, and complies with NEMA 4/12 protection standards and CE certification.

Display and touch core parameters

Display module: adopts passive color STN type, with a specification of 16 lines x 40 characters/line, pixel resolution of 320×240, diagonal size of 5.6 inches, character height of 5.62mm, supports brightness adjustment, and can be viewed clearly in almost all environments;

Touch screen module: It is a resistive touch technology that has undergone 3 million tests and has a matrix size of 16×40. It can create touch units with the smallest single character and the largest full screen, and supports simulated touch operations.

Data display and processing

Can display internal variables of PLC, the display quantity is only limited by the screen size, and supports linear scaling to convert data;

The data can be displayed in multiple formats such as bar chart, date, time, decimal, decimal, hexadecimal, floating-point, string, etc., and supports effective range validation data entry for various data types.

Security protection: Equipped with an 8-level password protection mechanism to prevent unauthorized access to critical system functions.

Alarm Management

It can monitor and display 1024 priority alarms, support customizing the attributes and exclusive messages of each alarm, and can set operator confirmation requirements;

Built in event list, retaining the last 256 alarm events detected by PLC, supporting screen viewing or serial printer printing for archiving.

Recipe management: A single project file page can create formulas for 255 parameter sets, with 16K reserved recipe storage space on the device. It supports the exchange of parameter sets with PLC, and the parameter sets downloaded to PLC can be modified for data.

Other practical functions

Built in battery backup real-time clock, synchronizes time/date to PLC at regular intervals, supports industrial process processing based on dimensions such as time/week;

Equipped with a keyboard macro editor, the touch unit can be configured to achieve local functions such as flipping pages, setting properties, reading and writing PLC, and retrieving alarm lists, greatly saving programming time for ladder diagrams;

Supports BMP format bitmap graphics display, and can be created and imported using any Windows software.

1 RS-232 port: dedicated for PC or printer communication, supporting printing of reports, alarm lists, and event lists;

1 auxiliary port: used for high-speed bus network communication.

UniNET network: supports flexible network configuration (2-panel 1PLC to multi panel multi PLC), can simultaneously read and write PLC data from different locations, achieve data sharing between UniOP panels and PLCs across brands/types, and build an industrial network data bridge.
