Key issues

Question 1: What are the core differences between the LX-G/LX-E/LX-H models? What loads are suitable for each?

answer:

LX-G: Main stator excitation, low cost, suitable for ordinary linear loads.

LX-E: Strong excitation of auxiliary winding, suitable for heavy and impact loads.

LX-H: PMG permanent magnet independent excitation has the strongest anti harmonic ability and is most suitable for nonlinear loads such as thyristors and rectifiers.

Question 2: What are the short-circuit and overspeed capabilities of LX series generators? Why does LX-G not support strong short-circuit capability?

answer:

Overspeed: All models can withstand 120% rated speed for ≥ 2 minutes.

Short circuit: 50Hz=250%/2s; 60Hz=300%/2s (excluding LX-G).

LX-G adopts direct power supply from the main stator without auxiliary strong excitation winding, which cannot maintain high-power short-circuit current.

Question 3: What is the transient voltage index of the LX series? What is the significance for practical use?

answer:

Sudden increase of 100% rated current (power factor ≤ 0.4), maximum voltage drop ≤ 25%, and restore to within * * ± 3% * * of steady-state voltage within 2 seconds.

Meaning: Ensure minimal voltage drop and fast recovery when starting with a large load, protect equipment from tripping or restarting, and improve power supply stability.
