Product Introduction

The board adopts Xilinx Zynq SoC processor+FPGA; PCIe x1 Gen1 bus; Equipped with dual RJ45 EtherCAT network ports; Onboard isolated digital IO, independent isolated hardware emergency stop EMG; Supports handwheel pulse input.

EtherCAT has a minimum cycle of 250 µ s, ensuring deterministic synchronization between motion and IO;

Supports up to 10000 IO points; compatible with mainstream EtherCAT slave devices in the market;

Provide APS function library and MotionCreatorPro2 configuration and debugging tools;

EtherCAT supports linear, tree, star, and daisy chain topologies, with a maximum of 65535 devices per network, a maximum network cable length of 100m, and also supports fiber optics.

Key points of hardware installation process

Turn off the power, ensure proper anti-static measures, and insert it into the PCIe slot;

Connect the DSUB37 cable to the optional DIN-37D terminal board;

The EtherCAT network uses CAT5e Ethernet cables to connect servo/IO slave stations;

External supply of 24VDC to isolate IO from the terminal board;

Install WDM driver; Use SW5 dip code to set the card ID;

Open MotionCreatorPro2 to scan EtherCAT slave stations, configure axis parameters, and test IO and motor actions.

Common troubleshooting

The device manager cannot see the board: check slot contact and driver installation;

MotionCreatorPro2 cannot start: Required NET Framework 3.5 and above;

Motor not functioning: Confirm 24V power supply, network cable, slave power supply, servo IO wiring;

EtherCAT slave station not found: Check the network cable, confirm that all slave stations have been powered on, prioritize CAT5e cables;

Inconsistent instruction and feedback: The encoder pulse mode setting must match the driver.

Safety precautions

During the initial debugging, it is necessary to disconnect the mechanical load and complete parameter tuning before connecting the mechanism;

The EMG emergency stop circuit requires reliable wiring;

Power off before maintenance; Do not disassemble the board by yourself, maintenance must be entrusted to an authorized engineer from Linghua;

When the equipment is running, the surface of the radiator is hot, so avoid direct contact and burns.
